So my blog has basically been non-existent for 5 months. I admit it’s been hectic and crazy, but tonight just seemed like one of those nights I needed to pause… take a deep breath… and reflect on exactly what God has been doing at theROCKchurch over the last 2 months. And it absolutely has blown my mind. You ready for this???
- Over the last two months we have seen 17 people give their lives to Jesus Christ! SEVENTEEN!
- We are getting ready to baptize THIS SUNDAY as many as 11 people. ELEVEN people saying I AM NOT ASHAMED TO STAND UP FOR CHRIST! That’s awesome!
- Since May we have seen attendance almost triple! Did you catch that? In the summer months, when church attendance always DROPS… We have GROWN! Unreal.
- Our thursdayROCK bible study, has gone from almost primarily at one point nothing but me sitting at the computer with Daniel staring me in the face and about 5 people online watching. To what we saw TONIGHT… Where we had 10 people LIVE IN PERSON… And many others online! We had 13 viewers ONLINE last week, for a BIBLE STUDY… That blows my mind!
- We have seen since May amazing stories and amazing videos like these
- Trevor Hager has taken our creative arts to a WHOLE NUTHA LEVEL. And it’s only the beginning
- Daniel Fisher is growing the iROCK internet campus into an amazing thing.
- PJ Johnson has been an amazing soundboard and partner in casting vision and gearing up for the future of theROCK and I can’t say thank you enough.
- We’ve got people that are now on board who are SOLD OUT to the vision, of Paying Whatever Cost to Point People to the Cross… And their enthusiasm is CONTAGIOUS!
- And lastly I am STINKIN PUMPED because God’s finally given me clear direction that it’s time to go back to Nicaragua in January 2012! Sign-ups will be ready this Sunday! This is going to be an AMAZING TEAM!
All I can say is, if you have not had the chance to check out what’s going on at theROCK please I’m telling you, you have GOT to give it a shot! This Manly Men Series is just EXPLODING w/ testosterone, fun, competition, and most importantly MEN LEARNING TO BECOME MEN, and changing families! You can’t miss the last two weeks. You can’t.
GET ON BOARD NOW! Something is brewing, and I can’t wait to see what’s NEXT.
